I started my journey in 2006 where I attended a nine month Counselling Skills Course. At first, counselling was only an interest. Apart from learning to speak to others in an empathetic way I later realised it was the start of my own self development journey.
I found great empowerment in developing the ability to be honest with myself in front of people without the fear of being judged.
Throughout the course, I developed a passion for wanting to encourage people to have the desire to help themselves.
In 2007, I started to study for my degree in Counselling and in 2010 I qualified as a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor. I have practised counselling professionally from 2010 to the present day.
